Madison and Megan have been playing in my makeup lately. I wouldn’t mind, but they make a mess of my colors and brushes. So, I found a little play kit at Sam’s that has tinted lip glosses and polishes for them to use. I told Megan that she is too young to wear eye shadow but she could wear lip gloss any time she wanted.  Sunday at lunch she was sitting across from me and the light hit her just right…

“Megan, mommy told you that you are too young to wear eye make up. You can only wear lip gloss.”

“I AM just wearing lip gloss, mommy. I  put it on my eyes”

What can you say to that? After much laughter, I did a better job of explaing what I meant by no eye makeup!
